Kristina offers a culturally grounded, deeply compassionate space to navigate the profound topics most people avoid, from grief and trauma to existential transitions. By blending clinical expertise with creative exploration, she empowers clients to shed their masks, process unspoken pain, and courageously reclaim an authentic life.
Many of us hide behind masks to avoid being noticed, while secretly longing to be seen. I create a safe, compassionate space where we can name losses, acknowledge the pain that often goes unspoken, and explore how to live more authentically.
Clients have affectionately called me the “Death Lady” because I welcome conversations about grief, mortality, and the feelings behind not wanting to exist—topics most avoid, but which often hold the key to healing and growth. My practice is rooted in decolonized principles, centering culture, identity, and the systems that shape us, while honoring your unique story.
To support your journey, I use evidence-based approaches such as
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I also incorporate expressive art therapy, which may include the use of tarot imagery as a symbolic tool for reflection and creative exploration. These methods provide grounding while leaving space for creativity, mystery, and personal wisdom.
A wise Guyanese man I once called “grandpa” told me, “Live until you die.” I’ve carried his words forward and added: “Live until you die—even when it is hard, because you deserve to live an authentic human existence.” If you recognize yourself in these words, I invite you to reach out for a consultation. Together, we can begin piecing your story back together and rediscover what it means to truly live.

Psycho-tarot-py is a therapeutic approach that incorporates tarot cards as a framework for self-reflection and insight. Rather than predicting the future, the cards serve as prompts to explore parts, emotions, and perspectives that may be influencing your life. By working with the imagery and meanings of the cards, you can gain clarity around decision-making, deepen your self-awareness, and discover new ways of understanding challenges and opportunities. This process invites curiosity and reflection, offering a creative pathway toward personal growth and healing.

Utilizing the process of thoughts to help one understand their actions and behaviors. This approach helps individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves while actively changing unwanted behaviors.
A brief, evidence-based therapy using eye movements and guided imagery to help the brain reprocess distressing memories. It allows painful experiences to lose their emotional charge while keeping facts intact, leading to rapid relief from trauma and anxiety.
Helps individuals manage intense emotions, reduce impulsive behaviors, and improve relationships by combining CBT techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies.
Designed for individuals struggling with high levels of shame, self-criticism, and self-blame (often linked to depression and anxiety), CFT helps you develop deep self-compassion.
Integrates aspects of CBT with mindfulness practices derived from traditional meditation to help break cycles of anxiety and depression.
Helps us understand how our nervous system responds to stress, safety, and connection, explaining why we might go into "fight, flight, or freeze" mode, and teaching us how to feel calmer and safer.
